It’s nearing the end of January, which leads us to think about… well, February. Before we start tripping over the leap year, we need to face good ol’ February 14. Why oh why does Valentine’s Day fill us with so many mixed emotions? As your horoscope would say, if you’re single, this day will leave you longing and looking for love; for those attached, this day will bring much turmoil and strife as you do your best tap-dance between cheesy and insensitive. That being said, who doesn’t love that lingering pre-teen hope of attention from a crush (no matter how far-fetched-fantasy or worn-in-comfort he might be)?

This year, we’re cutting through the Hallmark cards and candy boxes, to share a brand with all the answers. Stevie Howell is a San Francisco based painter, photographer, and printmaker and we are seriously sweating her. Wow! She brings her art mediums together in dazing textile designs printed on indulgent pieces, such as her signature silk kimono-style robes. Whether you’re pampering yourself or the one you love, these refined numbers have us blushing… and embracing our inner lady-meets-tramp!
